A small aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing on Highway 74 in Peachtree City after experiencing engine failure.
According to Peachtree City police, the plane lost engine power while in flight, forcing the pilot to land on the southbound lane of Highway 74 near the Peachtree City Athletic Complex on Friday morning.
Police said no one was injured in the incident.
The Peachtree City Police Department later posted photos of the scene on social media with the humorous caption:
“You can’t park there.”
Images from the scene showed the light aircraft sitting near the edge of the road, while emergency responders quickly arrived to ensure traffic safety.
