March 31, 2026 (New York time) – Images allegedly showing Kristi Noem’s husband, Bryon Noem, are circulating, depicting him in drag with oversized prosthetic breasts and prominent faux nipples during interactions with members of an online fetish community.
According to the Daily Mail, the outlet obtained hundreds of messages purportedly exchanged between Bryon and three women within a community known as “bimbofication.”
This community involves the concept of injecting large amounts of saline into the chest area to create a Barbie-doll-like physique with extreme, exaggerated proportions.
The photos show Bryon—a South Dakota insurance businessman and father of three—wearing pink shorts and a skin-tight, flesh-colored crop top, with large, ball-like objects stuffed inside to create an asymmetrical and unusually large bust.
In several of the photos:
- His face is clearly visible.
- He maintains a neutral expression, similar to an ID photo, despite these shocking allegations aimed at the former official's family.
- Some photos feature suggestive "pouting" poses.
The Daily Mail cited national security experts who suggested that such images could represent a vulnerability.
Former CIA officer Marc Polymeropoulos noted: “Damaging information like this can be a very attractive tool for a hostile intelligence service. They could approach and say: if you cooperate, we won’t release this; if you don’t, we will. That is the basic tradecraft of espionage.” In a context where security agencies are on high alert, personal lapses like these are always under intense scrutiny.
The incident surfaced after Kristi Noem left her position at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security on March 5, a time when Governor Gavin Newsom fiercely criticized Kristi Noem for her leadership performance. Her resignation followed two Congressional hearings, including one where she struggled to answer questions regarding her personal life.
In response to the press, Mrs. Noem stated: “The family was completely blindsided by this information,” and requested privacy while asking for prayers for her family.
