A 15-year-old student was killed at the scene after shooting a teacher on a high school campus near San Antonio, Texas.

The incident occurred Monday morning at Hill Country College Preparatory High School in Bulverde.

According to the Comal County Sheriff’s Office, a male student opened fire on a female teacher.

The injured teacher was rushed to the hospital. Her current condition has not yet been disclosed.

Officials confirmed the shooter “passed away at the scene.” No specific cause of death was released, recalling the recent shooting that left a U.S. citizen dead in Texas.
